MAG Cinema at "3D Kino" in Belarus

"3D Kino" is a new cinema in Minsk (Belarus), opened at the end of last year at the "Korona City" shopping mall. Its opening brought joy to the residents of the three nearby districts at once, as there were no cinema sites in this part of the capital before. And the highly innovative level of the theater has even further enhanced the experience for cinemagoers. The technical implementation of the project was carried out by the leading European cinema integrator "CinemaNext", which delivered sound at the theater with the help of MAG Cinema systems.

“3D Kino” includes four cinema halls with a total capacity of 241 spectators. Two large halls can accommodate 77 guests and the middle one — 60 guests. There is also a small VIP-hall with 27 seats.

The cinema owners have taken care of everything that can provide guests with maximum comfort and thrilling experience — starting with cozy interior and ending with high-quality technical equipment. With regard to technical solutions, it was important for the owners that the theater fully meets the latest modern standards in the cinema industry.

All the screening rooms are equipped with modern NEC projectors applying a boothless solution — the projector is installed directly in the room, which is suitable for cinemas where a projector room is not provided. As for the sound solutions, the choice was made in favor of Ukrainian-made acoustic systems MAG Cinema, that immerse moviegoers in the world of powerful dimensional sound.

The extremely thin yet powerful screen systems — 3 x MAG SCR-415 and 9 x MAG SCR-435 — have been chosen as the main sound. These systems are only 11 inches deep, ideal for small to medium sized venues, and have sensitivity that allows to reduce power significantly, and hence the cost of amplifiers.

All cinema halls were equipped with MAG W-SUB subwoofers — another optimal solution for halls with a small screen space. It took 7 x MAG W-SUB to provide four halls with the sound. It is based on high-power 18" drivers, and the increased volume of the cabinet provides the improved low frequency response required for low frequency cinema effects.

The immersive effect is reached thanks to the 46 powerful MAG SUR-63 surround systems, which combine the convenience of mounting and a professional modern design.
