Scala Kino Sankt Moritz, located in the heart of St. Moritz, Switzerland, has reopened its doors after a major renovation. This legendary cinema boasts a rich history spanning over nine decades. Since its inception, Scala Kino has been a pioneer in various aspects of film presentation, including the first sound and color films, and later introducing the first digital cinema in Graubünden.
During the renovation, Scala Kino Sankt Moritz has been fully modernized to meet the highest standards of movie presentation. Notable technical innovations include the installation of state-of-the-art projection systems and sound equipment. Special attention was given to the acoustic system, utilizing advanced audio equipment from MAG Audio to ensure the highest quality sound, capable of satisfying even the most discerning audience.
Apart from the cinema, MAG Audio’s professional equipment provides powerful and high-quality sound in the exclusive James Turrell Room bar located in the basement of the cinema. This unique venue combines an atmosphere created by contemporary art installations with vibrant nightlife entertainment. The installation was carried out by our partner Protronic AG. The equipment used includes:
