MAG Cinema Speakers in Cineworld Cinemas Warrington
Cineworld is the 2nd largest multiplex cinema chain in the UK which belongs to Cineworld Group — one of the leading cinema groups in the world.
As of today, Cineworld Cinemas occupies 102 cinema locations with a total of 1,087 screens all over the UK. One of the latest theaters was opened in Warrington city at the end of last year, and it is fully equipped with MAG Cinema speakers.
Cineworld Warrington has 13 screening rooms. But the main attraction is the Superscreen room that features a breathtaking multidimensional sound system combined with a state-of-the-art laser projection on a screen. It is equipped with 39 MAG Cinema speakers and the new MAG ceiling mounting adapters.
Shaun Jones, vice president of operations and company director at Cineworld, states:
[T]he sound and speaker system we use in the Superscreen is just incredible. This is our first cinema to have that. We have speakers in the walls and embedded into the ceiling. It’s a truly special experience and if you’re going to watch a big film like Star Wars that’s where the Superscreen comes to life.
In total, Cineworld Warrington movie theater is equipped with 174 surround speakers, 42 screening speakers and 16 subwoofers of MAG Cinema.
