King's Lynn's Majestic Cinema, is heralded as one of the most beautiful buildings in King's Lynn (Norfolk, UK). It officially opened its doors on May 23, 1928, a fact commemorated by the stained glass on its facade. Recently, it underwent significant transformations. The cinema's largest auditorium has reopened to the public following an extensive renovation.
This grand reconstruction not only introduced new comfortable seating, an advanced sound system, 4K projection, and a screen more than twice the size of its predecessor but it also restored the splendid original decorative elements such as the stained glass, now proudly on display.
The project breathed new life into the historic structure, highlighting the ornamental dome and golden decorative elements to their original lustrous appearance, merging cutting-edge technology with a century of enchantment. With one of the largest screens in West Norfolk, the Majestic Cinema now stands as a testament to the city's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage while embracing modern innovations.
Currently, the Majestic hosts four auditoriums. The recently updated Hall 1, with its elegant dome seating 290 patrons, has been outfitted with modern cinema acoustic systems from the renowned Ukrainian manufacturer MAG Cinema, in collaboration with its highly valued partner CinemaNext:

Another high-tech addition to the upgrades is the Trinnov Audio Ovation 2, a digital cinema sound processor renowned for its benchmark calibration quality in challenging spaces where dialogue clarity is paramount.
