On October 2, 2024, the vibrant city of Monheim, Germany, celebrated the grand opening of the cutting-edge EMOTION Kino Monheim cinema, nestled within the Monheimer Tor shopping center. This new venue has quickly become a crown jewel for movie enthusiasts in the region, offering state-of-the-art technology and unparalleled comfort to its patrons.
The cinema boasts six auditoriums, each with its own unique design — a standout feature that ensures no two halls are alike, with some being truly extraordinary. Take Hall No. 6, for instance: it's been transformed into a special haven for relaxation, fully furnished with cozy sofas, faux bookshelves emulating a library, and adorned with plush carpeting, creating an intimate and unique viewing environment.
Each auditorium is equipped with the latest technology to guarantee superior image and sound quality, including Christie RGB 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos or 7.1 surround sound systems, D-Box motion seats, and PLF Cinity with HDR and HFR support, among others.
Recognizing that high-quality sound is crucial for complete immersion into the cinematic experience, special attention was devoted to the audio systems. As a result, four out of the six halls are outfitted with acoustic systems from MAG Cinema, a renowned Ukrainian manufacturer of professional cinema sound equipment. The integration was expertly handled by our German partners, ECCO – Cine Supply & Service.
